Welcome to AUGUST 2017, I apologize for being so late in posting considering it's such a big month I should have been on it sooner, but my schedule simply did not allow.
Let me start by saying that this month is going to be big for everyone and for most positively. Those that are versed in Astrology understand that Karma plays a big role in what effects each will experience what we put out we get back and why Astrology is so important in helping us understand this.
April was a big Retrograde mania month a lot of changes have been coming about since then. August is the BIG month because we are in eclipse season and on the 21st of this month is when the Total Solar eclipse of the Sun will happen in the sign of LEO where the North Node is currently transiting and I will get to that in a bit.
First Saturn will be turning direct on the 25th and this means that things will begin to move forward but it also means you better be ready. Saturn rules law and order, structure, Karma, and is known for restriction and blockages physically, spiritually, emotionally and any other way he can in a effort to strengthen us and build us in so many ways. Saturn is not a bad guy he's a good guy but most of us don't realize it until after. No one builds like Saturn and if we do the right thing and work hard we are rewarded.
Whatever house Saturn is transiting for you, you will notice. Saturn is the stern teacher he doesn't accept excuses and he holds us accountable for ourselves and all we do. While Saturn turns Retrograde he tends to dig deep, and we become very aware of how our actions are catching up with us.
Saturn is hard, he doesn't play easy he teaches us that luck can run out and that in the end we really really create our own luck and if we learn this our luck will stay with us, it's not just a passing Jupiter phase, it's something we can constantly create and maintain, and what we create it's something no one can take away from us. Independence and inner strength is what Saturn builds but can often leave us feeling depleted, alone and in worse case cold and depressed. This is usually if we have not been living up to our potential, or living according to our highest self. Saturn turned Retrograde on April 5th, if you think back from then you will notice that a lot of things might have become more difficult and there was a lot to work through and out. Well now we need to be prepared for his forward movement to implement these changes if much of the changes were already worked out then your ahead of the game, for the rest of us we need to get solid.
There is still more to change though, Of course the lunar Eclipse on August 7th in Aquarius brought about new changes as well, and now we have the Total Solar Eclipse on the 21st which will be accompanied by a New Moon in Leo. Eclipses end cycles and bring new ones about, new opportunities present themselves while others may fall away.
Again you need to look at your own chart to see what aspects are being made for you and what house Leo rules. For Leo's themselves a lot of changes with their identity will come about, and some very positive changes can be made. It's out with the old and in with the New. What has been working keep and what's not get rid of.
Are you living your life authentic to you? are you happy? why? or why not? I also think it will be a lot less about individualism and more about our society, less about pride and ego. Leo rules the individual, the heart, pride and ego, and although self pride is a good thing too much can be bad. This eclipse of the Sun which rules our egos as well, can very well help assist us in realizing how our pride might be holding us back, or causing us much more pain than necessary.
Nonetheless new identities can be formed we can uncover things about ourselves and make changes. It's also about self expression, identity, personality and our physical bodies we can also make changes in these areas by changing our look, our diet or creative expression and even standing up more for what we believe.
Mercury is also currently Retrograde and this always brings things back from the past or allows us to review things and improve them. Depending on the house Mercury is Retrograding will tell you more about what to expect but for the most part Retrogrades are used to repair, revisit, re-do, clear up, renegotiate, re-instate or pretty much anything with Re in front of. We tend to analyze a bit more and are often given opportunities to clear up or repair, heal or get clarity on situations, people and events in our life and or make changes.
