This placement is somewhat underestimated in my opinion. The second house is not only of money it is also of values and self esteem, along with things we purchase or own. When your moon is in your partners 2nd house (taurus-Venus) you are likely to help build your partners self esteem. In you they see someone that has similar values closely linked to their emotional security. The moon person may on the negative use these compliments to get the things that they want, from the house person but this is usually not the case. The moon person actually admires the house person or sees value in them. It does not have to mean they see Monetary value, but they appreciate them for their talents. The moon person makes the house person feel more confident which may in turn make the house person more driven for success, finally acknowledging these talents. Sometimes the Moon person can become financially or emotionally dependent on the house person. There is a certain amount of jealousy and possessiveness also prevalent but that just adds spice.
