Mercury Retrograde: Purchasing a New Car? Buying a New Computer?

When Mercury turns Retrograde we have all heard not to make any major technology, or transportation purchases this is because of   Mercury is the ruler of these things and in Retrograde Motion things get kooky. This is true, things do go awry and since Mercury also rules our perception and communication it is also true that we may not be seeing things as they actually are. The theme with all Retrogrades is to not start or buy something new but rather fix or repair it, or revisit it and redo it.

However, this is not always the case, and the proof is in the fact that we often have the desire to re-think, re-do, repair and anything else that has Re in front of it. Does this mean that while we are re-doing our website, or revisiting an old relationship that we have no clue what we are doing?

When Mercury turns Retrograde, we are more introspective which is a positive thing because it helps us re-think things and often we come up with some revelations. We can suddenly realize that maybe something was our fault, maybe it's really they're faults, whatever the case we do often realize things that we didn't' realize before.

This is why sometimes exes come back or we choose to contact an ex, or an ex-friend or anyone we had a falling out with. We can suddenly see that our book we were writing doesn't have the pizzaz we wanted or whatever project we might have been working on. If we are able to see these things then how can our perception or decisions not be clearer? The problem isn't with us, it's with the technology. You notice how websites go down, internet connections slow down or our phones act up and we can make slip-ups due to this but if you buy a car from a reputable dealer and check things out thoroughly, then you will likely to find one and even find a better deal.  The technology errors with websites ect..these things are likely as a result of all the webmasters noticing ways that they could improve their website so they decide to work on it, and we the end user experiences the issues of their work.

As far as technology and cars or transportation we know that retrogrades point to Murphy's law if it going to break it will likely do so during this time. Howevbut is buying technology really something we should not do? We all know that during Mercury Retrograde things can go awry and often this is when our cars and technology are likely to experience issues and it's most commonly known as a time to get these things fixed I mean after all when something breaks we need to replace it or fix it.

Mercury Retrograde and all Retrogrades for that matter are about going back to review, redo, or anything with Re in front of the word. But is it a bad time to buy New Equipment? I have successfully bought computers, phones and technology during Mercury Retrograde, and have bought when Mercury wasn't Retrograde and the technology still had issues when Mercury wasn't retrograde.

I noticed when Venus turns Retrograde, being the ruler of money and the luxuries in life, including anything that brings us pleasure like beauty products, art or whatnot that we can find great deals on these things, but more often than not something is not quite right about the things we find we find. This, however, is because our view or perception is a bit skewed and we are not likely to notice all the details or that we are a little lax on the particulars and can end up with shabby stuff.

Here's the deal, if something needs upgrading, or needs improvement then during a Retrograde it's a good time to do these things. That's what Retrogrades are all about, after all, going back to improve what's not working efficiently in our lives or to improve things, upgrade if you will.

The key is to double check everything, this means if you go out to buy a new computer during Mercury Retrograde then make sure that you test it well and that you get a warranty. I mean this is a given anyway, any large purchase needs to have a warranty.
